Last updated: 15 October 2026
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of https://hunting-accessories.com (the "Site"). The Site is operated by X Enterprises, LLC, 18122 3rd Dr SE, Bothell, WA 98012 ("we," "us," or "our"). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
What the Site is, and what it is not
The Site publishes general information about hunting accessories and hunting safety: optics, rangefinders, navigation, hunter orange, clothing for the cold, blinds, packs, first aid kits, game meat care, tree stand harnesses and stands, hunter education, licenses and regulations, and the Federal Duck Stamp. We are not a retailer, a brand, a maker, a government agency, a hunter education provider, a medical provider, or a lawyer. We do not sell gear, licenses, tags, stamps, or courses. The Site does not cover firearms, ammunition, or bows.
Important hunting safety notice
Hunting and the activities around it carry serious risks, including falls from height, suspension in a harness, cold injury and hypothermia, getting lost, injury from tools, foodborne illness, and hunting-related shooting incidents. A fall from a tree stand, or prolonged suspension in a harness, can cause serious injury or death. You are responsible for deciding whether any activity is right for you, for your own training and physical limits, and for following the maker's instructions for your gear and the law where you hunt. If you are not sure something can be done safely, do not do it. In an emergency, call 911.
General information only; no professional, legal, medical, or safety advice
Content on the Site is for general information. It is not legal, medical, safety, or professional advice, and it is not a substitute for a hunter education course, a first aid course, your state wildlife agency, a doctor, or the instructions that come with your gear. We do not say that any product, stand, harness, tree, place, or activity is safe, and nothing on the Site is a safety inspection or a diagnosis of any condition.
State hunting laws and regulations
Hunting licenses, seasons, hours, legal methods, hunter orange, bag limits, tagging and reporting, hunter education, blinds, stands, and land access rules are set by each state, and by land managers and landowners, and they vary and change. The Site does not state any one state's rule as a rule for everyone, and nothing on the Site tells you what the law requires where you hunt. Check your state wildlife agency's current regulations, and the rules of the state where you will hunt, before you hunt. Federal rules, such as the Federal Duck Stamp, are described as the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service states them; check the Service for current requirements. You are responsible for following every law that applies to you.
Tree stands, heights, and harnesses
The Site does not give instructions for installing, climbing, or using any tree stand or harness, and it does not certify or recommend any stand, harness, or tree. Where the Site describes the Treestand Manufacturers Association's Treestand Safety Guidelines or a federal safety alert, it does so for general information only. Wear a full-body fall arrest harness system every time you leave the ground, follow the maker's instructions and warnings for your stand and harness, inspect them before each use, and have a plan for rescue. If you cannot recover or escape from a harness, hunt from the ground.
Cold, first aid, and medical help
Information on the Site about cold weather, hypothermia, and first aid kits comes from the sources named on each page and is general information only. It is not medical advice, and it does not teach first aid. Take a first aid course. If someone shows signs of hypothermia or is hurt, get medical help. In an emergency, call 911.
Game meat and food safety
The Site does not give field dressing, butchering, or processing steps. Hygiene and cooling points on the Site come from the sources named on each page. Wildlife can carry diseases, and game meat that is not handled and cooled properly can cause illness. Follow your state wildlife and health department recommendations, including any on testing for chronic wasting disease, and the food safety guidance of public health agencies.
Optics and laser rangefinders
The Site explains how binoculars are described and how laser rangefinders measure distance, for general information only. It does not cover aiming, shot placement, or ballistics. Never point a laser device at anyone, read the laser safety label and manual for your device, and follow them.
Makers and their instructions
Gear is made and sold by third parties under their own terms. Your gear's instructions, warnings, weight limits, and labels control. We have not tested any product. We are not responsible for any third party's products or instructions.
Agencies, organizations, and sources
Government agencies, safety and education organizations, and references named on the Site are credited for their own guidance. They do not endorse the Site, and the Site's mention of an industry safety body's guidelines is not a statement that any product is approved, certified, or safe.
Brand names and trademarks
Brand, product, program, and organization names mentioned on the Site belong to their owners. We use them only to credit their own guidance. The Site is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any brand or organization it mentions.
Affiliate links
Some links may be affiliate links. We may earn a commission if you buy through them, at no extra cost to you. Any purchase is between you and the retailer, under the retailer's terms. See our Affiliate Disclosure.
Eligibility
The Site is for a general audience. It is not directed to children under 13.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Site in violation of any law;
- copy, scrape, or republish Site content in bulk without our written permission;
- interfere with, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site.
Intellectual property
Site content, design, and text are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by law. You may view and share links to the Site for personal, non-commercial use. Third-party names and trademarks are covered under "Brand names and trademarks" above.
Third-party websites
Links to retailers, makers, government agencies, hunter education and safety organizations, and other websites are provided for convenience. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, products, prices, or policies.
Disclaimer of warranties
THE SITE AND ITS CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF ACCURACY, MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE AND OUR OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SITE, ANY PURCHASE FROM A THIRD PARTY, OR ANY HUNTING OR OUTDOOR ACTIVITY, OR USE OF ANY GEAR, STAND, HARNESS, OR DEVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE SITE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US $100). NOTHING IN THESE TERMS LIMITS LIABILITY THAT CANNOT LAWFULLY BE LIMITED.
Indemnification
You will defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless from claims, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your misuse of the Site or your violation of these Terms.
Dispute resolution; binding arbitration; class-action waiver
Please read this section carefully. Except for small-claims matters and claims for injunctive relief over intellectual property, any dispute about these Terms or the Site will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. The seat of arbitration will be King County, Washington, unless you and we agree otherwise. You and we waive any right to a jury trial and to take part in a class, consolidated, or representative action. If the class-action waiver is found unenforceable for a claim, that claim must proceed in court and not in arbitration.
Governing law and venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Subject to the arbitration section, exclusive venue for permitted court actions is the state or federal courts in King County, Washington, and you consent to jurisdiction there.
Assignment and change of operator
We may assign or transfer these Terms, and the Site, to a successor operator, including as part of a sale of the Site, without notice to you. After that, the successor operator takes our place under these Terms and may post its own terms. You may not assign these Terms without our written consent.
Changes
We may update these Terms by posting a revised version on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use after that date means you accept the revised Terms.
Miscellaneous
These Terms, with the Privacy Policy and Affiliate Disclosure, are the entire agreement between you and us about the Site. If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
